Bayside Wake Park

You’ve tried surfing, snow skiing and snowboarding or maybe just want to give something new and exciting a go? Welcome to Bayside Wake Park!
Bayside Wake Park (formally known as Cable Ski Logan) is a Wakeboard and Water Ski Park located in the heart of sunny South East Queensland, the adventure state of Australia, in between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in the City of Logan. It provides an action packed and fun experience for first time visitors through to advanced riders.

Beenleigh Artisan Distillery

Beenleigh Artisan Distillery is the oldest registered continuously working distillery in Australia, established in 1884. Over 130 years later, they’re still making rum the traditional, “boutique” way, operating from their original stone building on the banks of the Albert River. They’re still exclusively sourcing Australia’s finest molasses from the country’s only remaining family-owned sugar mill and still pot stilling using some of their original copper equipment.

Drop in and learn about the distillery’s history. Understand how their master distillers craft quality award-winning rums through a tour and tasting experience. Or just relax in their fully stocked bar where they serve award winning wines, local craft beers, spirits, soft drinks and of course their very own craft distilled rum!

Beenleigh Historical Village

A popular tourist destination for school students, families and senior’s tours, the Beenleigh Historical Village features early Australia memorabilia, collections of items and even entire buildings which have been lovingly preserves and restored. While you are there we recommend a visit to the Art Gallery with amazing original works by local artists or stop and treat yourself to coffee and home-baked treats at the Tin Cup Cafe. The Beenleigh Historical Village is a wonderful hidden gem just off the M1 at Beenleigh.

Daisy Hill Koala Centre

Visit Daisy Hill Koala Centre to see koalas in a natural outdoor setting. Come and be captivated by these amazing marsupials and discover more about the secret life of koalas. Admission is free. You can see the resident koalas from two different viewing levels so don’t forget your camera. Visitors are unable to handle or pat the koalas.

Eagleby Wetlands

If you love bird watching, these wetlands are a must. Positioned on the Albert River, they are home to more than 200 native Australian bird species, including 19 of the 24 Australian raptors and almost half of the bird species found in Queensland. Explore melaleuca wetlands, a freshwater lake, woodland and cane fields to spot them.

Eco Park Fishing World

Located on the Beenleigh Beaudesert Road, Queensland’s environmentally friendly recreational and Leisure Theme Park that’s a Fishing Park and Farm Stay with many friendly farm animals and unusual birds the kids just love

So close to the city and yet so removed. You can pat the animals, feed exotic birds, fish in serene ponds, or just relax and enjoy the setting. Hang the ‘Gone Fishing’ sign on your door and escape to EcoPark Fishing World for a fun-filled day out for all ages.

Logan River Parklands

Love life on the river? One of the easiest ways to access it is from this expansive park right beside the M1 (Pacific Motorway), near the iconic Red Bridge over the Logan River. Launch your tinnie from the boat ramp or throw in a line from the pontoon. You can even cook your catch on one of the barbies by the water. Logan River Parklands is a picturesque spot to exercise, with a range of fitness equipment, volleyball court and even an outdoor ping pong table.

Norwell Motorplex

Norwell Motorplex is a purpose built driver training facility situated in Norwell, a 35 minute drive from Brisbane and 25 minute drive from Surfers Paradise. It is Australia’s leading multi-use motoring venue. Norwell Motorplex has state-of-the-art driving facilities including a 2.1km track circuit, skid pan, 4WD track, mechanical turntable, conference facility and workshop. The facility is perfect for product launches including motorbikes, cars, tyres, truck and machinery, team building days and driver safe courses. Norwell Motorplex also is the home to the Supercars Official Driving Experience.

The Shark and Ray Gardens gives everyone a chance to get into knee /waist deep water and interact with sharks and rays. This unique experience is both educational and entertaining. Paul will assist you in to the knee /waist deep water, we open our gate every hour then close at 5 minutes past for your group experience.

Spirits of the Red Sand

Experience the world¹s oldest culture at Spirits of the Red Sand, Australia’s newest and most interactive Aboriginal Live Theatre Show and Dinner Experience. Journey from Dreamtime to Australia of the 1800s as all your senses are engaged.

Located halfway between Gold Coast and Brisbane, this 2.5 hour live ‘roving’ theatre experience combines powerful story-telling, songs, dance and chants and for the audience, a sense of being part of the action.

Led by a storyteller through chapters of a true moving story about three Aboriginal brothers, you’ll witness history come alive all around you as you move through unique sets within a 19th Century Australian village. You will find yourself in a church, an Aboriginal village, even outside a jail.
